Stone built hotel for sale in Crete. It is situated at the edge of the village Zouridi, 19 klm from the city of Rethymno.

It was built in 1910 and totally restored in 2013. It was always owned by the same family and in 1900 the first foundations of the mansion were laid. The current owners have transformed it into an opulent hotel, taking care to maintain and take advantage of its captivating beauty and bracing magnetism, which draws from its foundations of charming traditional Cretan stone, while fully respecting the nature and history of the surrounding area.

The restoration of the building was made with natural stone created entirely in the limestone area. This is used on all surfaces in the hotel, both visible and concealed, even in the coping around the swimming pool.

Volcanic earth from the island of Santorini was used back then, as it is today, for grouting and coatings replacing cement to create an ecological dwelling: warm in winter and cool in summer!

The hotel is built on a land of 10.533 sq.m, and has an extra building capacity of 400 sq.m.

The location of the Guesthouse is in the village of Zouridi. In the heart of Crete and offers a variety of activities of natural, historical, cultural or simple recreational interest.
If you are interested in hiking you can visit the Temple of the Five Virgins on a fantastic route or even the Island that is a fossilized village named after the rivers that surround it. Christian churches are everywhere in the area and you can visit and admire them. The natural beauty of the area is an asset for those who love outdoor activities. 

North and South coasts are both easy to access. At 15m by car you are at the beach of Episkopi and at 25m at the beach of Plakias!
